Algorithm Based Picking/Packing
We understand that your business might require specialised picking and packing choices for your needs. With Meat Cold Storage, you can tell our algorithm what you need and it will make automated decisions on which items go out and come in, and where they go.
Stock Selection Control
When customers place orders, or stock needs to be broken down, boned, our algorithm determines what goes out first. By default, the setting is "none". The available options are: none - any unit can be selected, FIFO - First in, first out (the item that has been in stock the longest will be the required stock item to select), or oldest kill date (the oldest kill date item will be the required stock item to select).
Stock Take Options
Much like our stock selection feature, stock take can be inventoried by a particular category, including none, FIFO, or oldest kill date.
Easy to Use/Learn UI
Learning how to use the WMS is easy and intuitive. We firmly believe that your staff shouldn't need specialised training to use our product. We want people to be able to pick up how to use our software within the first few times of using it.
Hardware Integration
We feel that the ability to integrate new automated hardware into the WMS is essential to keeping your business running smoothly now and well into the future. Whether you're installing new automatic barcode scanner into the docks, wanting your security cameras to be integrated into the system or changing any other kind of hardware, it should be able to be integrated into the software.
Location Assignment
Stock can be assigned to any location, whether manually, using our algorithm, or based on specific principles you need right now.
Item Ownership
If you're a 3PL business, you'll know how important knowing where their stock is to owners. For this reason, ownership of the product can be accessible and changeable. Your system will have a record of who owns what, and if that changed or needs to change in the future.
Item Transfers
If a product moves around, you should know where it came from and where it's going. Moving the products around is easy to track and trace with Meat Cold Store.
Manual Input and Automatic Barcode Fields
When a carton/carcase comes in, it is important to record the information on the barcode, as well as any other differing information which may need to be recorded manually. With our software, barcodes are scanned, read and the information is automatically placed in the correct field, but most importantly it can also be manually entered.
